Swann Waterhouse BSN, RN, CWOCN
She currently works as the Assistance Nurse Manager for the Inpatient Wound Ostomy Nursing Department Team at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Roles that excite her when they allow for innovativeness and ability to focus on quality and education initiatives. She has a contagious passion for sharing knowledge and inspiring nurses to function at their highest level under their scope. Prior to joining the UTSW team, six out of the 14 years were spent in the Wound Care department at Parkland Health and Hospital, Dallas, Texas.
She graduated from Louis Herrington School of Nursing, Baylor University in Dallas, Texas in 2009. He specializes in the management of challenging traumatic, surgical, autoimmune, and oncological wounds as well as complex fistulae.
She is a member of the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) Society and the previous PR Director for the South-Central Region for the WOCN SOCIETY.
