Michael Desvigne, MD, CWS, FACS
Dr. Michael Desvigne is a plastic surgeon in Peoria, Arizona and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Banner Boswell Medical Center and Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.
Originally from New York, he has traveled the globe and spent 12 years in the USAF as a medical student, then flight surgeon and general surgeon. He is board certified in General surgery, Plastic Surgery and Hyperbaric medicine. Currently he maintains a busy plastic surgery practice, 70% reconstruction and 30% cosmetic. In the past, he was the Director of Plastic Surgery Division in the CORE institute in Sun City Arizona, and medical director of wound care and HBO at Banner Boswell Hospital in Peoria Arizona. Currently, he serves as a consultant, as well as, CEO and founder of Wound Management Solutions, where he assists in managing wound programs in inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care facilities.
He received his medical degree from Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and has been in practice for 26 years. He is one of three doctors at Banner Boswell Medical Center and one of four at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center who specialize in Plastic Surgery.
